He supports, advises, and assists clients in the legally compliant implementation of VAT issues, tax audits, as well as anti-money laundering and criminal analyses for legal advice.
Werner Wingender worked for over 45 years in the tax administration of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), where he was employed in almost all areas. Special and long-term positions included tax auditing and tax investigation, from whose experiences he still benefits today. Together with Markus Bitzer, before leaving, he initiated and established a joint department of the Bonn tax investigation and the customs investigation office in Cologne.
Werner Wingender has been a certified tax advisor since 2023. From 2023 to 2024, he worked at “DER BITZER – Experts for Customs and Tax”. In 2024, he founded the law firm Bitzer Mainfort GmbH together with Dr. Andreas Striegel, Heiner Neuhaus and Markus Bitzer with a focus on legal and tax advice on customs, VAT and anti-money laundering.
