Dr. Andreas Striegel specializes in tax structuring and tax planning, particularly in the context of corporate and asset structuring, business successions, as well as acquisitions and divestitures.

From 1988 to 1992, Dr. Andreas Striegel worked in the tax administration in Baden-Württemberg. He completed his part-time studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in 1991, obtaining the title of Diploma in Financial Management (FH). Alongside his law studies at the University of Würzburg, he worked at the family's tax consulting firm of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Striegel from 1992, which was taken over by the jointly managed Striegel Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH with a focus on tax compliance after Dr. Andreas Striegel's admission as a tax advisor in 1997. In 2000, Dr. Andreas Striegel joined the Frankfurt office of Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner, where he worked in the areas of international tax law and private equity. From 2004 to 2005, Dr. Striegel completed the Master's program in International Taxation at the University of Miami, earning the LL.M. International Taxation degree and receiving a scholarship. The program was complemented by activities for international law firms. In 2009, Dr. Andreas Striegel founded the mainfort law firm with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration in teams to provide advisory services primarily to medium-sized companies. Dr. Andreas Striegel is a lecturer at the University of Cologne and a speaker at the German Academic Institute for Tax Advisors as well as in the seminar series of NWB Verlag.
