Law Supplementing the Regulations for the Implementation of the Digitalisation Directive

On 13 April 2022, the Federal Government adopted the draft of the so-called “Law Supplementing the Regulations for the Implementation of the Digitalisation Directive” submitted by the Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ). The purpose of the law is to expand the existing regulations of the Law on the Implementation of the Digitalisation Directive of 5 July 2021. Particular innovations can be found, in particular, with regard to online GmbH formations and various online procedures for register registrations.
