Thomas Götz

Thomas Götz worked for the Bavarian tax administration from 2016 to 2026. He completed his dual-track degree at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in 2019, graduating as Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH). He then worked in tax audit and in the specialist audit unit for international tax matters.   Alongside his work in the tax administration, he passed the German tax advisor examination and completed the master’s programme in corporate tax law at the University of Cologne, graduating as Master of Laws (LL.M.). During this time he already engaged intensively with international tax law. He wrote his master’s thesis on controlled foreign company taxation in the context of reorganisations.   In 2026, Thomas Götz joined mainfort.
