Dr. Andreas Striegel is primarily active in the areas of tax structuring and tax planning, which is implemented mainly in the context of corporate and asset structuring, corporate succession, as well as acquisitions and divestitures.
He primarily advises, supports, and guides medium-sized clients in the implementation of related – often international – projects and structures.
From 1988 to 1992, Dr. Andreas Striegel worked for the tax administration in Baden-Württemberg. His part-time studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance were completed in 1991 with the title of Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH).
Alongside his law studies at the University of Würzburg, he worked from 1992 in the tax consultancy firm of his parents, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Striegel. In 1997, after Dr. Andreas Striegel’s admission as a tax advisor, the firm was taken over by the jointly managed Striegel Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, with a focus on tax compliance.
In 2000, Dr. Andreas Striegel moved to the Frankfurt office of Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner, where he focused on international tax law and private equity.
From 2004 to 2005, Dr. Striegel completed the Master’s program in International Taxation at the University of Miami, where he obtained the LL.M. International Taxation degree and was awarded a scholarship. His studies were supplemented by work for international law firms.
In 2009, Dr. Andreas Striegel founded the mainfort firm with a focus on multidisciplinary teamwork for advising primarily medium-sized companies.
Dr. Andreas Striegel works as a lecturer at the University of Cologne and as a speaker at the German Scientific Institute of Tax Advisors (e.V.), as well as in the seminar series of NWB Verlag.
